Hanna Marin

Hanna is the “It” girl of the group, quick to take Alison’s place as the most popular girl at Rosewood High School. When she was still part of Alison’s posse, she was teased mercilessly by Alison for being overweight. She later met up with an unpopular outsider named Mona, and together the two managed to make themselves skinny and gorgeous over the summer after Alison’s disappearance. Despite her popularity, Hanna is generous, caring and the most trusting and gullible of the Liars. She is known for being bold, fashionable, sarcastic and loving. Hanna seems to be the first to know about her friend’s secrets and relationships, and was the first to be “visited” by Alison.
